Our Story

For as long as he can remember, Dzifa Ababio, our founder has had an appreciation and a desire to hunt for vintage wares. It was on one such hunting adventure for a cutting table, that he came across a family heirloom, a large mahogany desk from the 1970s. Tucked away in one of the drawers was a handwritten note that read, "In a world of chaos, find a corner where you still have control and fill it with beauty - then share it with others".

Dzifa was reminded that within the world of menswear, there were many creations in his dreamy imaginative mind that needed to be brought to life. Thus begun the journey around the planet, from the bustling colourful markets in Accra, to the narrow alley-ways in the heart of Tokyo in search of master artisans to collaborate with birthing this brand with an Elegant|Casual attitude.

The name Dzifa from the Ewe tribe of Ghana means "One is at Peace". At the heart of all our designs is this ethos.
