Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you need to know about the made-to-measure process.

Every order begins with a private consultation — by appointment only. We take up to 30 measurements and discuss your lifestyle, how you dress, and what you need the garment to do. Fabric selection and style details are confirmed at this stage.

For first-time clients, we construct a basted fitting garment before your final piece is made. This garment is built specifically to assess drape, posture, and shoulder slope — the structural elements that determine how a garment truly fits your body, not just your measurements.

Once the fitting garment is delivered, you will receive a link to schedule your virtual fitting via Zoom — to be completed within 14 days of delivery. You will share your comments and three photographs: front, back, and side. We incorporate your feedback before cutting the final garment.

Your production timeline does not advance until the virtual fitting is completed. The fitting garment is yours to keep. We kindly ask that it be returned if possible — not for reuse, but to reduce waste. A prepaid return label is included with your fitting shipment.

Timelines begin from the date your order is confirmed — not the date payment is received. Order confirmation is issued via email and marks the official start of your production timeline.

Trunk show orders are confirmed within 14 days of your appointment. All other orders are confirmed within 48 hours of payment being received in full.

First-time clients: please allow 10–12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery. This accounts for the basted fitting process, virtual fitting, feedback, and final construction.

Returning clients: standard turnaround is 6–8 weeks from order confirmation to delivery.

These timeframes reflect normal production conditions. Dzifa & Co is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, courier handling, or incomplete shipping information. Timelines are contingent on the client completing the virtual fitting within 14 days of receiving the fitting garment.

Made-to-measure at Dzifa & Co is an investment in clothing built around you — your measurements, your posture, your life. Every garment begins with entry-level cloth included in the base price. Fabric upgrades are available across two additional tiers and priced transparently as a supplement, confirmed on your order sheet before production begins.

  • Three-Piece Suitfrom $2,950
  • Jacketfrom $1,600
  • Trousersfrom $650
  • Shirtfrom $395
  • Vestfrom $450

Fabric supplements are discussed at consultation. Pricing for trunk show appointments is confirmed at the time of booking.

A deposit of $350 is required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, your deposit may be applied toward a future appointment within 12 months, subject to availability.

The full balance of your order is due at the time of consultation, before production begins. No work is started until payment is received in full.

All sales are final. In the unlikely event that Dzifa & Co is unable to fulfil a confirmed order, a full refund will be issued within 14 business days.

Because every garment passes through a virtual fitting before final construction, significant fit issues are resolved before your garment is completed. Minor adjustments occasionally arise after delivery.

For clients outside Ghana, we offer an alteration allowance of up to $150 per garment, reimbursable within 60 days of delivery. To claim, email hello@dzifa.co with a brief description, photographs before and after, and your tailor's receipt. Reimbursement is issued via Zelle within 14 business days of approval. Store credit is available as an alternative.

We reserve the right to decline reimbursement where alterations were performed by an unqualified provider or where the work has worsened the fit. Dzifa & Co is not liable for alterations performed by third parties.

Alterations required due to changes in weight or build after delivery are not covered and remain the client's responsibility.

Yes. We ship to clients across West Africa, the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America. Garments are dispatched direct from our production team to your address.

Upon dispatch, we will provide a tracking number and carrier details. Our responsibility for the shipment ends at the point of dispatch. All destination-country duties, taxes, and last-mile delivery costs are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Delays or failed deliveries resulting from incomplete or incorrect address information are the client's responsibility and do not affect payment obligations.

Dzifa & Co will not contact shipping carriers on behalf of clients after dispatch. Any queries regarding a shipment in transit should be directed to the carrier using the tracking information provided.

Your garment is an investment. Proper care extends its life significantly. We recommend dry cleaning only for suits and tailored jackets, and professional pressing rather than home ironing where possible.

Detailed care instructions are included with every order. Dzifa & Co is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care or cleaning.
