Most clothing is made quickly and forgotten just as quickly.

We take a slower approach.

Dzifa & Co is built around the belief that a life, like a garment, is shaped through attention and practice.

Through working with one’s hands.
Through patience.
Through discipline.

The pieces we make are simply one expression of that process.

A quieter approach to clothing

Handwork

Cut. Baste. Sew.

Learning through repetition. Each garment shaped by the same patient process.

Calm Presence

Clothing that moves with you.

Drapes naturally. Moves easily. Chosen to work across the full range of your life.

Discerning Choice

Fewer garments, chosen well.

A good wardrobe grows slowly. Each piece earns its place over time.

A Note from Dzifa

I came home the long way.

I was working as a paralegal in Washington DC, blogging about menswear on the side, when I realised I didn’t have the stomach for law school. What I wanted was to build something — something I wished existed. And Ghana had started calling. Every visit home made it harder to leave.

I decided to pivot via a rigorous MBA program and after graduating, I joined a food company in Chicago, IL. Somewhere in there I started experimenting with made-to-measure tailoring through a craftswoman back in Ghana. Though it didn’t work out perfectly, I learned.

Two years into that job, I quit and moved back to Accra. During my first week home, I walked into a yoga class on a rooftop and something shifted — the deliberateness of it, the way slowing down made everything clearer. I eventually became a yoga teacher. I went deeper into the craft too — not just designing, but learning to cut and sew myself.

I do two things that seem completely opposite — I design custom menswear and I teach yoga. The thread between them is intentionality. How you present yourself. How you move through the world.

The clothing reflects that directly — built slowly, made to last, by someone who took the long way to get here.

If that resonates, I’d like to make something for you.

It was sewn on a wax figure with my silhouette

A wide variety of fabrics to choose from. The attention to detail is impeccable and the quality and fit are perfect. The experience is pretty quick yet very interactive which makes the client feel more comfortable and fully immersed in the process.

Samuel A. — Client

Always better than envisaged

I always enjoy two things each and every time Dzifa and I sit down — finding the right fabric to bring the design idea to life, and seeing and trying on the garment, which is always better than envisaged.

Banka J. — Client

Would recommend Dzifa & Co. any day

Timelines were kept. Tailoring was good, fit just right and the finishing perfect. The logo and finish of the suit carrier gives a very cool exquisite touch. Would recommend Dzifa & Co. any day.

A Note from Dzifa

Dzifa & Co began with a simple curiosity.

How does a garment change when it is made slowly and with attention?

Over time that curiosity became a practice.

Working with cloth. Learning how garments move with the body.Spending long hours refining small details. Tailoring teaches patience.

It teaches one to slow down, to observe carefully, and to improve something little by little.

Those same ideas shape the rest of my life.

Through yoga.
Through writing.
Through the quiet discipline of daily work.

Dzifa & Co is simply one expression of that practice.
